Yes, I have a girlfriend. Her name is Miranda, and the road trip I went on last week was to surprise her at the airport when she returned from a trip to Iceland. Because while she was gone, I asked her if she would want to be with me when she returned, and she foolishly said yes.

She probably won’t like me sharing this picture with you all, but it is one of my favourite pictures of her. It was a version of her I had only seen glimpses of in the past. She was so naturally, uninhibitedly happy in that moment that I can’t help but smile every time I look at it again.

But how do I tell you about her? Where do I start? How do I explain something I don’t fully understand myself?
